The Oakwood subdivision is on the northern end of Westmont, Illinois. Westmont is located in the western suburbs of Chicago, approximately 22 miles west of the Chicago Loop. Neighboring towns are Downers Grove, Clarendon Hills, Oak Brook, and Hinsdale. The primary entrances to Oakwood are via Oakwood Drive. The south entrance is off Ogden Avenue, directly across from the Hinsdale Country Club. The north entrance is off 35th street across from the Trinity Lakes subdivision of Oak Brook. Oakwood can also be entered from the west from Cass Avenue by way of Blackhawk Drive. Oakwood consists of 458 homes, many of which are located on Lake Charles.
